                    Rattlesnake Vaccine
                Protect Your Dog Today!

With Springtime upon us flowers are not the only things that are flourishing; rattlesnakes are making their annual appearance.  A rattlesnake bite can result in a serious injury or even death.  The venom from a rattlesnake bite is a mixture of toxins that spread through a dog's body.

At Animal Care Clinic we recommend Red Rock Biologics Rattlesnake Vaccine.  The vaccine protects your dog by creating an immunity that works to help neutralize the toxins from a rattlesnake bite.  Vaccinating your dog can reduce the severity of the bite by slowing down the symptoms.

Snake bites should always be treated as an emergency.  Even though your dog has been vaccinated against rattlesnake venom, they should be taken to a veterinarian for evaluation and care as soon as possible following the snakebite.

Rattlesnake Avoidance Training for you dog is offered at Summerfield Kennels in Jamul.  For information call (619) 445-8309.
